Terms of sitting with the practice
These terms apply when you ask Tool Meadow Core to perform a readout, sit-in, workshop, or related professional work described on this site. By sending a note through the form or by emailing hello@toolmeadowcore.click to book work, you accept them.
The work
We provide human professional services: reading event lists, reconstructing player paths, writing readouts, and running workshops. We do not sell software, store access, or a subscription. Descriptions on /services/ and /pricing/ are informational until we send a written scope with a fee.
Booking and scope
A sit-in starts only after both sides confirm scope, fee, and dates in writing (email is enough). Changes to the event list, stores, or workshop attendees after that confirmation may require a new fee. We may decline work that would require us to invent numbers, scrape stores, or ignore a publisher NDA.
Your materials
You remain responsible for having the right to share logs, builds, and notes with us. You must not send personal data of players beyond what the engagement needs. We use those materials only to perform the booked work.
Intellectual property
Your game, event names, and logs stay yours. The written readout we deliver for a booked sit-in is yours to keep and share inside your company. Our journal articles, site copy, and methods remain ours. You may not copy our site or pass our unreadout templates off as your own product.
Payment
Fees are as agreed in the scope. Informational prices on /pricing/ are starting bands, not a public tariff for every title. Invoices are payable as stated on the invoice. Late payment may pause remaining workshop dates.
Liability
We take care with the readout. We do not warrant a higher retention day, a featured listing, or a publisher decision. Our liability for a booked engagement is limited to the fee paid for that engagement, except where Malaysian law does not allow that limit (including death, personal injury from negligence, or fraud). We are not liable for lost profits, lost publisher deals, or patch decisions you make after the workshop.
Confidentiality
We keep non-public materials confidential during and after the sit-in, except where law requires disclosure or you have made the material public. After the engagement we delete player-level exports unless the written scope says we must keep a copy for a stated period.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction, with Johor Bahru as the preferred venue where that is allowed.
Changes
We may update these terms on this page. Work already booked stays under the terms confirmed in that booking’s email.
